  6. Hi s cree!

Mark H. Rooney has been teaching taiko classes in the DC area. You can contact him through his website: www., though the information on the site is not current. He said he'll be updating it soon with info on summer camps and possibly stop by here to share the details!

  7. I'm having trouble finding a way to reach you. I have an event and am looking for Taiko drummers for a henna retreat we're having. Please email me at if you get this. I'm in the MD-DC area.

  8. Hi
Really enjoyed reading through your posts - BUT - This WebRing Ting is REALLY annoying - redirects, ads, clutter is really spoiling reading your stuff for me - sorry

  9. Anonymous--Thanks so much for the comment! I didn't realize it was causing redirects, etc. I've removed the Navbar (which is all I'd added) and the redirects seem to have stopped. Not sure where that ad is coming from on the top of the page and will look into it.

Again, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I rarely visit my blog when I'm not signed in, so I had no idea.

  10. hello carrie,

are you leading taiko lessons or a group in Hong Kong currently? I am relocating there at the end of this month and would love to find a group to learn with...

    1. Hi Nani!

Please contact O•Daiko in Hong Kong for information regarding taiko classes. I left HK last summer, but the group is still active! Their website is While membership is for women only, they occasionally hold public classes that are mixed gender. Feel free to email me if you have more questions!
